WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST CHALLENGING YET REWARDING SET YOU'VE SWAM?
One of the most challenging practices I've done, but also enjoyed, was 20 50s butterfly all out for time.
I fell in love with swimming at a young age. When I was two years old, I learned to swim which sparked my desire to swim in our pool for hours daily. At five, I joined a summer rec team, then by nine, I switched to club swimming to continue to challenge myself. From there, I earned my first sectional cut in 7th grade in the 100m butterfly which prompted me to work even harder. A year later, in 8th grade, I picked up my first futures cut, also in the 100m butterfly. Now, I challenge myself daily to reach my next step -- a Junior Nationals cut. Looking back on my experiences so far, I've enjoyed every second of the journey: the early mornings, long days, soreness, friendships, success, discipline, daily feeling of accomplishment, perseverance, and striving daily to be a better athlete and person. In the near future, I cannot wait to live out my greatest potential both in and out of the water!
