WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST CHALLENGING YET REWARDING SET YOU'VE SWAM?

24 x 100 threshold
I started swim at the age of 4 and started competitively swimming that same year on Indian Wells Valley Swim Team in Ridgecrest, California. In 2016, I moved to El Dorado Hills and found the Sierra Marlins and have been on the team ever since, competing in both short course and long course. I have found that swimming at Marlins has taught me discipline and hard work. It has also been a safe place that I can always count on when times are tough. I love the sport and can't wait to continue on in college.

FUN FACT:

In Freshman year, I discovered the wonderful world of drama when I got the chance to play a character named Jim Pickles, a TV News Anchor, in my Performing Arts class. It was quite ironic in the fact that the character was everything I was not; a male, misogynistic, and sarcastic. I think that is what made the role even more enjoyable. All in all, it was a great way to end the year with my fellow drama peers.
