WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST CHALLENGING YET REWARDING SET YOU'VE SWAM?
Four one hundreds then one four hundred, and four rounds of it. That set was a challenge and I enjoyed every last second of competing with my own times to beat myself every round.
I started swimming at the age of five years old with my sister on the Sunrise Sharks. After three years on the Sunrise Sharks, it was decided by my family that a greater level of competition was needed, so I had moved to Glenn Oaks Sea Lions for two years. During those two years, it felt great but was never enough. While searching for teams to expand my horizon, I had chose California Capitol Aquatics, and became a year round club swimmer. I was on that team for around three years, and although it was great to have a new competition level, new coaches, and a supporting team, I knew this still would not be able to support my desire to expand my horizon and become the greatest swimmer I could ever be. After those three years, my family and I made the decision to push it to the next level, during this time I had left CCA and joined the Marlins. Ever since, everyday improvement has been revealed to be extremely prevalent. Everyday is an improvement, on and off deck. I personally look forward to reaching every single goal that I have set for myself with SMST along with becoming a great athletes on and off deck. I carry lots of pride that I am where I am to this day, let’s go Marlins.
No matter what happens, I am always ready to face a challenge no matter the difficulty, time, setting or any given event. No hard day, set, tasks or events are able to hold me back from consistently having energy.
