WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST CHALLENGING YET REWARDING SET YOU'VE SWAM?
When I think of a hard set what comes to mind first is the 40 100s we did Thursday morning. I remember coming into this set very tired and hoping for an easier set. We broke the set into 4 rounds of 10 100s, we began the first round hitting mile pace, second round 1000 pace, into 500 pace and ending it off with best average on a tight interval of 1:05. This set really pushed me physically but most importantly mentally as I made sure not to give up and push harder to stay consistent.
Hello, my name is Vlad Hrynashka and I have been swimming since I was 5 years old. Swimming wasn't my first sport, I started off playing tennis, but soon realized that wasn't my jam. I began swimming on a rec team in Gold River California, on the Gold River Stingrays. After some time I was blessed to get coached by Jeff Float, which is where my thrive for the sport began. Overtime I realized this sport means a lot to me and I decided it's time to move onto a club team, which is when I joined the Sierra Marlins. I was again privileged to get coached by multiply amazing coaches that taught me so much in the sport and helped me improve. Since I've joined this team I have hit many rough patches but of course I always had the support of all my coaches and teammates, and I hope I can give the same support to others that need it.
